Garnet for January!

The garnet is a deep, rich red or purple-red stone, not only was the garnet regarded as the gem of faith, constancy, and truth, but it was believed also to possess many curative powers. The warm, bright garnet stands in contrast to this cold month and brings to those born in January (myself included) friendship, loyalty and sincerity, and the stone is said to have the power to ensure good health and protect its owner during travel.
For January, I have this beautiful and unique necklace, with garnet featuring a stunning mosaic pendant in the color of pearl white and dark red. Each glass piece measures approximately 2 mm.
The necklace is made of 3 strands of 14 kt gold fill chain, faceted garnet beads and 10 mm pearls, completed by a filigree clasp.

Total length is a little over 36 inches.
